<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="color: #808080;">這似乎並不是「偶像崇拜」、「被洗腦」這類簡短的敘述就能夠解釋清楚的現象。曾經去過幾個中國的小城，從街道望進民居，常常就在一入門的地方，抬頭可見嶄新的毛澤東畫像高掛牆上；屋外有個拿著矮凳靠坐門口的老者，臉神木然地望著來往行人。當畫面停格，我總是不清楚自己是否已經乘著時光機回到過去。<br />

<h3><strong><span style="color: #000000;">「我說這個好的換到毛主席像上去」</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">這張照片是村子裡熱鬧的祭祀場合，善男信女爭相把手中的紅色布幔掛到觀音像上，而當儀式結束、大夥簡單收拾的時刻，有個畫面讓我印象非常深刻：</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">「這個毛主席像上的也給換一下。」螢幕外一個男聲，對著屋子裡的眾人說。</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">「這會兒再沒好的（新的紅布幔）。」旁邊的女子整理著手上的紅色布幔，漫不經心的回應。</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">「這個不換嗎？」螢幕外的男子伸手拿起紅布，又問了一次。</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">「姨父，那個不要取！」女子語氣有點驚慌，試圖想要阻止伸手拿布幔的長輩。</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">「我說這個好的換到毛主席像上去。」</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">而後，屋裡人都來幫牆上大大的毛主席畫像換上新布幔。</span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">我感覺這群人跟他們心目中的毛主席，離得好近。他們敬仰他、把他放到跟佛一樣地位的祭祀，這時，他是遠而高大的神；而在生活中，他們之間更像是後輩懷著敬愛之心，細膩呵護一個親族老長輩，以一個很小的動作，來貼近這個他們心目中的「神」。</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">而這「神」、人的互動，卻也形成了一個有趣又有些荒誕的對照：在這個以「無神論」為主調的社會中，神佛是以這樣的形式出現在生活裡，而這個「過去的人」在精神上，位階甚至更勝於真正的「神」。</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">整部片以「毛澤東像」在每個房間的畫面，串接數個當地人生活的小故事。然而，精確來說跟毛有很直接相關的故事，只有祭祀的片段和影片最後村醫的談話，其他故事乍看之下，牆上的毛更像是每個房間裡必備的元素，毫無違和的融入成為背景裡的標準配件。</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">如果不特別說，大多數人恐怕很難想像這是直到今天都還出現在中國社會的畫面。</span></p>
<p> </p>
<h3><strong><span style="color: #000000;">飛速中國裡的怠速生活</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">這似乎並不是「偶像崇拜」、「被洗腦」這類簡短的敘述就能夠解釋清楚的現象。曾經去過幾個中國的小城，從街道望進民居，常常就在一入門的地方，抬頭可見嶄新的毛澤東畫像高掛牆上；屋外有個拿著矮凳靠坐門口的老者，臉神木然地望著來往行人。當畫面停格，我總是不清楚自己是否已經乘著時光機回到過去。</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">但更讓我好奇的是，這個散落中國農村的「普遍」現象，在社會中是怎麼被看待的？我也疑惑，毛時代結束了這麼多年，當社會不再特意提及，是什麼原因讓人們還對他懷抱這麼大的敬意，他們是像「桃花源」裡的人那樣與世隔絕、還活在「舊時代」嗎？而毛澤東本人，以及這個符號所傳遞出的「信仰」、「舊的時代」、「過去的」、「傳統」這些概念，在當地人的生活、談話、思想中，是怎麼交互影響？簡言之，毛，是怎麼成為「生活的一部份」的？</span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">《有毛的房間》剛好提供了一個切入點，來探索這些問題。導演叢峰從多年的拍攝素材裡特別摘出有「毛」的共同片段</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">（注1）</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">，除了真實記錄這些還存在毛的場域，更是照見快速發展的中國裡的「怠速生活」：轟隆隆的像是有在運作，實際上整體卻是沒有動的，對比於外界非常快速的變遷，這裡卻似乎什麼也沒有變，時間的腳步在這裡跟外面並不同調。而每個房間裡小人物的故事及他們對生活的思考，也幫助我們理解發展巨輪下，當時間腳步不一樣時，傳統與現代的衝突。</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">影片中多數房間的格局，屋裡大半空間由北方家家戶戶都有的「炕」佔據，連著燒水做飯的大火爐和煙囪管線，這裡一年大約有八個月要燒炭火取暖。「炕」並不屬於私人，家庭裡吃飯、睡覺、社交都在這。而從炕延伸到房間的牆面，除了毛之外，還有家族合影和歷史記憶。在房間裡，從最外圍乘載歷史記憶的牆、到人們圍繞著的爐火及炕，呈現的是很凝聚、緊密的空間意象，裡面的人有信仰、也有跟傳統剪不斷的聯繫。這個精神空間中，毛的畫像以一種俯視的姿態，看顧全局。</span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">從一個房間到另一個房間，「毛」以不同的風格的畫像作為轉場出現，看顧全局的姿態沒有改變，但不同房間的故事合起來，勾勒出一幕偏鄉縮影：環境久旱不雨作物不生、土地上有人沒錢給房子貼磁磚、有人相信用教育可以改變一切、有很多人出外打工、也有人打工幾年後回來成家立業了。雖說是「怠速」，在農村推力大於拉力的狀況下，未來勢必要打開一個更大的口，融入外面如飛的發展速度。</span></p>

<h3><strong><span style="color: #000000;">我「義大利」</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">《有毛的房間》是導演叢峰「甘肅的義大利」系列裡的其中一部</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">（注2）</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">，他說「義大利」其實是來自於當地方言的同音轉換。古浪當地，說「一起」是「yidaling」，出去打工時別人問從哪裡來，回答「我XXX人」後，別人又問旁邊的，旁邊的人回：「我yidaling」。問的人聞之總是惶恐，「你義大利人？」</span></span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">「義大利」、「一起」，這個集體性、隱含「你拉我、我帶你」意思的行動，在年輕人相繼出走他鄉，渴望探索未知世界的今天，可能會為「怠速」生活帶來一些內部質變，然而，對這群人來說，卻更像是順著一出生就寫好的「人生腳本」走過一生：十多歲出外讀書、離鄉打工，到年紀就該找對象，過幾年得生孩子。這些被現實與夢想推出去的年輕人，幾年後又被傳統上「到這年紀該……」的觀念拉回，依照一個隱隱存在的軌道，跟家鄉的同齡人一樣，在「規定」的時間裡，結婚生子、成家立業。</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; color: #000000;">於是，當面臨生計現實與傳統觀念的拉扯，相比於內心對探索未知世界的渴望，顯於外的他們談論命運，也相信命運會幫他們找到最好的安排。但我更想追問，這個「相信」，是不是也屬於對困頓現實掙扎後的妥協呢？如果有機會改變，願意不屈於命運再拼一次嗎？</span></p>
